Discounts

Multiple Student Tuition Discount: Families with two or more children will receive a tuition discount for each child as follows: Student in the highest grade level is considered as the first child.
• 2nd child – 5%
• 3rd child – 10%
• 4th child and up – 15%
**Fees are not included. Fees are additional. Only one discount per family will apply.

Military Discount: Active duty military families will receive a 7% discount on the yearly tuition.

Early Payment Discount: Families paying tuition in full at the time of submitting a contract will receive a discount of 3% on tuition, regardless of any other discounts applied.

Merit Scholarships

MERIT SCHOLARSHIP: One student will be awarded 50% off the yearly tuition based on Christian character, academic performance, and teachers’ evaluations. This scholarship will be effective on October 1, 2017. Scholarship application will be due no later than September 5, 2017.

About the Fifth Grade Program

Parents will need to complete all sections of the Admission Application and submit the application fee. Our Admissions Staff will call to schedule a school tour. We have very small class sizes so your child will have the attention he or she needs to excel.

Fifth Grade Curriculum

Bible: Bob Jones Press | Bible Truths 5 encourages students to apply the Bible knowledge they learn to their everyday lives. It also includes lessons for the missionary story Mik-Shrok and the application novel Songbird.
Literature: Veritas Press | Students read and study literary favorites, e.g., Anne of Green Gables and Old Yeller. Grammar: – Bob Jones Press English 5 studies a variety of writing assignments, such as compare-contrast essays, persuasive business letters, research reports, and more.
Math: Veritas Press | Saxon 7/6 continues to challenge the academic mind for high level math with critical thinking skills and abstract thought through application.
Latin-Part C: Veritas Press | Pronunciation and expansion of content for children.
History: Bob Jones Press | Heritage Studies 5 continues the biblical-based narrative of influence of the automobile and airplane, World War I, the Roaring Twenties, the Great Depression, World War II, the Vietnam War, struggles over civil rights, the war on terror, Afghanistan and Iraq wars, and immigration decisions.
Science: Bob Jones Press | Science 5 explores God’s creation in a study of minerals and rocks, fossils, matter and heat, sound and light, weather, ecosystems, and the respiratory and circulatory systems.
Linguistics: Veritas Press | The Grammar of Spelling 5 utilized for classical concentration of word spelling.

Tuition & Fees:

Tuition: $6,120 per year
Book Fees: $385
These fees must be paid by July 1st, 2017, before the first tuition payment and is non-refundable. Children cannot start school before book fees are paid.
Technology Fee: $100 Due by 9/1/2017
Athletic Fee: $50 Per Athlete/Per Sport
Application Fee: $50 Does not apply to re-enrollment
Enrollment Fee: $180 Due with application
Late Fee: $45 Will be assessed if there is an outstanding balance on the third of the month.
Returned Check Fee: $45 for each returned check

1 12” ruler with both inches and centimeters

1 King James Bible
1 USB 8GB flash drive
1 Pair of pointed scissors
4 Glue sticks (no glue pens) and 1 Bottle of clear Elmer’s glue
1 Package of pencil top erasers
1 Package of black ink pens (no gel)
4 Highlighters
2 Red pens (no gel)
6 Two pocket folders (heavy duty plastic recommended)
6 Packages of wide ruled, 8″x10 1/2″, loose leaf filler paper each semester
1 Package of graph paper
2 Composition notebooks (wide ruled)
1 Three-holed 2″ loose leaf binder w/ dividers
1 Package of 3”x 5” lined index cards
1 Webster’s Dictionary – Merriam Webster (red cover)
